Cromwell Farm in Combe Hay is based on 86 acres in the Somerset countryside, 5 miles from Bath. It has been in our family for 40 years, and we are the only producers of mare’s milk in the UK. We have 15 mares in our fields, and we only take the fresh milk they can spare after they have finished feeding their foals. The mares feed in pastures filled with grass and wild flowers, which gives our milk its natural goodness as well as its beautiful taste, which is slightly sweeter and lighter than cow’s milk. We do everything ourselves, from milking to bottling, fresh every morning. We drink the milk and use the hand wash, cream and moisturiser, and we like to think our health and happiness are the best advertisement our products could have!
